Counting Down to June 12, 2027

A friends-to-lovers tale . . . Peter and Renee were in the same small section as first-year law students at Berkeley. In law school at the height of the pandemic, they met as little boxes in their Zoom classes. When the lockdowns finally ended and they arrived on campus, Peter and Renee became fast friends. They shared a friend group and bonded at their classes, law school parties, camping trips, journal events, group vacations (to Hawaii, Alaska, and more), softball games, concerts, bar exam study sessions, and more.
Peter and Renee passed the bar and started their first lawyer jobs in Los Angeles. Despite working long hours at big firms, they always made time to see each other. They were best friends. And then they became more than friends. Renee invited Peter to be her +1 at a law firm event on beautiful Catalina Island. They had a great day together, they kissed, and they fell in love. It was a brat summer miracle.
They moved in together and built a small family with their dog, Indie. In early 2025, Renee began a federal court clerkship in San Diego, CA. Peter stayed in LA. Though separated by 119 miles, the distance hasn’t stopped them from spending nearly every weekend together. And, in early 2026, the couple returned to Catalina Island — where it all began — and got engaged. Renee plans to return to Los Angeles shortly before the wedding, and they will stay in LA as they start their next chapter as husband and wife.
We can’t wait to celebrate our love with our favorite people in the world! Thank you for making the trip.

For most guests, we recommend flying into the Ontario Airport.
There is a nonstop Breeze Airlines flight from SFO to the San Bernardino Airport, which is closer than the Ontario Airport.
Palm Springs Airport and LAX are also good options.
The rehearsal dinner and venue sit atop the San Bernardino mountains. Please prepare to drive on windy mountain roads.
There is ample parking at the venue. Peter and Renee also plan to arrange transportation both to and from the venue for guests wishing to consume alcohol.
There is a free trolley that goes around town, and can take you back and forth between Crestline and Lake Arrowhead. There is even a stop at the venue! Find out more here.
Because of the windy mountain roads, we highly encourage all guests to stay on the mountain the night of the wedding.
We have a room block at the nearby North Shore Inn. Please call (909) 338-5230 to book a room.
There are also several independent inns, Airbnb’s and VRBO rentals in the immediate area. You can find more information here.
If you would like to camp at the Dogwood Family Campground, we have camping gear you can borrow.
Please fill out this form if you are interested in carpooling or splitting lodging with other wedding guests.
Guests flying into LAX will want to take advantage of the millions of things to do in Los Angeles. A few suggestions:
Napa isn’t the only place with world-class wineries in California! About an hour and fifteen minutes from the venue, winos will love this cute, pastoral town. Some suggestions:
Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who still wish to give a gift, we've put together a wish-list to help you out.
